Forézienne MFLS continued its pan-national and global expansion. Thanks to its 23,000 m² of workshops in France along with manpower of 250, Forézienne MFLS has become a global provider of high-performance wood sawing solutions in over 100 countries across the world.

1977

Creation of Forézienne MFLS by Christian SENEGAS, its current president, the registered office of which is in Epercieux-Saint-Paul, in the Loire département (42).

1986

Forézienne MFLS starts to export and attend its first international shows. The Export Department is created and the first areas canvassed (Algeria, Switzerland, Belgium, etc.)

1987

The Forézienne trademark is registered with the products developed in the in-house design office. Its products are essentially manufactured within the group.

1988

Creation of the machine section dedicated to manufacturing and retrofitting machines to maintain cutting tools. This expertise currently represents 8% of Forézienne MFLS' turnover.

1989

The Forestill trademark is registered for the steels specially designed to manufacture band saw blades. Following extensive research, the FORESTILL steel was specially developed to manufacture these high quality band saw blades. Made from very pure ore, the manufacture meets with a very strict specification (heat quality, hot then cold rolling, including multiple quenching and tempering operations).

1990

Opening of the first local workshop in Tonneins (47), servicing the customers of the South-West of France. Essentially covering cutting tool maintenance, this set-up is in keeping with the proximity and responsiveness approach of our customers.

1993

Patent registration of variable pitch saw blades under the Forestill Plus trademark. This innovation provides greater versatility (wood species, sawing conditions, etc.), boosted performance (speed, precision, etc.) and a significant reduction in noise.

2002

Launch of a revolutionary sawing solution: the carbide band saw blade, under the TCT FORESTILL trademark. Its carbide teeth offer a cutting resistance 5 to 10 times greater than conventional blades and enabling MFLS customers to outsource their cutting tool maintenance.
2004

2004

Creation of the subsidiary, Emprecorte SL in Valladolid, Spain for the sale of equipment and services dedicated to the companies of Spanish and Portuguese subsidiaries.

2006

Implementation of the very high pressure water jet teeth cutting line. The band saw blade manufacturing process is now fully performed on numerical control machines. Creation of the Europe Department to follow up customers from the Germanic, Italian and Spanish areas.

Opening of a second local workshop in Geudertheim, Alsace (67) to be close to customers in North-East France and Germany.

Opening of a third local workshop near Le Mans, in Trangé (72), dedicated to customers in the North and West of France.
