Kreg Tool Company is an American manufacturer specializing in woodworking assembly and machining solutions.

1989:  Craig Sommerfeld founds the Kreg Tool Company in Huxley, Iowa, with the invention of the first angled drilling jig (Kreg Jig®) for assembling furniture frames without visible screws.

1990-2000 : Expansion of the product range, including clamping systems, cutting guides and accessories for wood assembly.

2018 : Relocation of the head office to Ankeny, Iowa, to a new 14,400 m² facility, combining offices and production to encourage collaboration.
