The Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France are a historic institution dedicated to training through excellence and the transmission of know-how. Active in a wide range of wood, metal, stone and art trades, every year they train young people and adults seeking mastery, a work ethic and a strong human experience through companionship.
Why this collaboration?
Our grinding machine Tormek T-8 is an ideal teaching tool for learn to sharpen with precision, safety and autonomy. By integrating this solution into certain apprentice training centres, we are helping to pass on an essential skill that is often neglected: maintaining and mastering your tools. A fundamental skill in all manual trades.

- Provision of several Tormek T-8 grinding machines in training workshops
- Educational sessions on sharpeningin conjunction with the trades referents (cabinetmakers, joiners, etc.)
- Raising awareness among young people in training the rigour of a well-honed tool and good practice
