SHINWA,

Japanese precision for woodworking and construction professionals.

DISTRIBUTION

Founded in 1971 in Japan, Shinwa Rules Co., Ltd. was born from the merger of three measuring instrument manufacturers: Watanabe Doki Seisakusho, Hanyu Keiki, and Watasei Doki.

Based in the Niigata region, a historic hub of Japanese metallurgy, Shinwa quickly established itself as a leader in the design and manufacture of high-precision measuring tools.

Through a policy of continuous innovation, the company developed patented technologies for the mass production of stainless steel rulers with consistently high quality. It has also expanded its product range to include instruments such as squares, levels, compasses, thermometers, and hygrometers—meeting the varied needs of woodworking, construction, and industrial professionals.

Today, Shinwa is recognized worldwide for the reliability, durability, and precision of its tools, trusted by craftsmen and industrial users alike.
